Books in time for Christmas

We've been very busy recently with two orders from local authors. Of course they were both wanting us to produce books ready for the annual Christmas present rush.

The first book by Marjorie Sargeant and published by Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum is titled 'Portrait of a Village 1914: Letters from Woodhall Spa'. The story of this small Lincolnshire village during 1914 is told through the letters of fictitious residents. All the facts are as reported at the time so it's a fun way to discover what was going on in Woodhall Spa just over one hundred years ago. Marjorie is doing a book signing at the Museum on Saturday 26th November.

And the second book 'Who Killed Scofield' is a novel by Avril Ford and self-published. Described as 'a clerical whodunnit' and set in a fictitious Lincolnshire village. The story is told from the view point of the village vicar and is sure to keep the reader turning the pages! Avril's book is available to purchase from Perkins in Horncastle.

Both ladies are repeat customers! We wish them all the best and hope the books bring much enjoyment to readers across the county and beyond.
